Man with a Van in Burwood East, VIC

Most Burwood East jobs never needed a full truck

A single wardrobe, a fridge heading into a rental, a marketplace pickup from Vermont South — none of that warrants a four-person crew and a pantech. Working as a Man with a Van in Burwood East, VIC, we match the vehicle to the load, which keeps the price honest and usually means a slot within the week.

Getting the van and driver close to the door

On a Burwood East van run, quiet residential streets, heavier on the highway frontage. With post-war brick homes with newer units appearing across most of the suburb and the tram terminus and buses along the highway nearby, positioning the van and driver is worth five minutes of planning and regularly saves an hour of carrying.

What a Burwood East job usually covers

• Single items — beds, fridges, washing machines and lounge suites
• Secondhand and marketplace pickups from Vermont South, Blackburn South and Forest Hill
• Part-loads for downsizers moving a room rather than a whole house
• Awkward single pieces handled through Burwood East doorways, stairs and hallways

Where the cost comes from in Burwood East

Time on a Burwood East van run is driven by carrying distance and volume, not room count. With post-war brick homes with newer units appearing typical of the area, we size the van and driver to suit a small load and tell you upfront what would change the price.
