Man with a Van in Collingwood, VIC

Most Collingwood jobs never needed a full truck

A single wardrobe, a fridge heading into a rental, a marketplace pickup from Fitzroy — none of that warrants a four-person crew and a pantech. Working as a Man with a Van in Collingwood, VIC, we match the vehicle to the load, which keeps the price honest and usually means a slot within the week.

Getting the van and driver close to the door

On a Collingwood van run, among the tightest in the inner north — clearways, permit zones and no off-street parking. With single-fronted terraces, warehouse conversions and high-rise housing across most of the suburb and Collingwood station and the Smith Street tram nearby, positioning the van and driver is worth five minutes of planning and regularly saves an hour of carrying.

What we take care of around Smith Street

• Single items — beds, fridges, washing machines and lounge suites
• Secondhand and marketplace pickups from Fitzroy, Abbotsford and Richmond
• Part-loads for downsizers moving a room rather than a whole house
• Awkward single pieces handled through Collingwood doorways, stairs and hallways

How we price a Collingwood van run

The quote is built on volume, access at both ends and the run between them. Because among the tightest in the inner north — clearways, permit zones and no off-street parking here, we confirm where the van and driver can legally sit before putting a figure to it — that one detail shifts a price more than an extra room does.
