Man with a Van in Fitzroy North, VIC

Small loads around St Georges Road, priced as small loads

Plenty of Fitzroy North moves are one or two items rather than a household. As a Man with a Van in Fitzroy North, VIC, we send a van and the right number of hands instead of quoting a truck you will never fill — cheaper, and far quicker to get booked.

Access around St Georges Road

Fitzroy North runs mostly to single-fronted Victorian terraces and converted warehouses, and for a van run that shapes the day more than anything else. Tight — narrow one-way streets, permit zones and almost no off-street parking, with trams on St Georges Road and Nicholson Street adding traffic at the predictable hours. We check the Fitzroy North street before pricing the van and driver.

Typical Fitzroy North work

• Single items — beds, fridges, washing machines and lounge suites
• Secondhand and marketplace pickups from Fitzroy, Carlton North and Clifton Hill
• Part-loads for downsizers moving a room rather than a whole house
• Awkward single pieces handled through Fitzroy North doorways, stairs and hallways

Quoting honestly for Fitzroy North

We would rather ask the awkward questions first — access off St Georges Road, stairs, anything heavy — than revise a price mid-job. The written figure for your Fitzroy North van run covers what was discussed, and nothing else appears later.
