Man with a Van in Mentone, VIC — Small Loads

When a van beats a truck in Mentone

Foreshore parking tightens considerably over summer, and a smaller vehicle simply gets closer to the door. As a Man with a Van in Mentone, VIC, we use that to your advantage: less carrying, less time on the clock, and a price that reflects the job you actually have.

In Mentone the streets set the timing

Around Como Parade you are dealing with interwar homes and bungalows with apartments near the station and foreshore. Tighter towards the beach, easier on the inland streets. Foreshore parking tightens considerably over summer, so we build the arrival window for your van run around that rather than hoping for a clear kerb.

Typical Mentone work

• Single items — beds, fridges, washing machines and lounge suites
• Secondhand and marketplace pickups from Parkdale, Cheltenham and Beaumaris
• Part-loads for downsizers moving a room rather than a whole house
• Awkward single pieces handled through Mentone doorways, stairs and hallways

Pricing a van run without guesswork

A number guessed over the phone tends to move once the van and driver sees the property. We ask about parking near Como Parade, stairs, and what is stored out of sight, then give you a written Mentone figure that holds.
