Man with a Van in Reservoir, VIC

Small loads around Broadway, priced as small loads

Plenty of Reservoir moves are one or two items rather than a household. As a Man with a Van in Reservoir, VIC, we send a van and the right number of hands instead of quoting a truck you will never fill — cheaper, and far quicker to get booked.

What Reservoir properties mean for a van run

The housing stock here runs to post-war homes with townhouse infill filling the gaps. Decent driveway access, tighter near the shops — and with Reservoir station on the Mernda line close by, the hour we load a small load genuinely changes how long the work takes.

What we take care of around Broadway

• Single items — beds, fridges, washing machines and lounge suites
• Secondhand and marketplace pickups from Preston, Thomastown and Coburg North
• Part-loads for downsizers moving a room rather than a whole house
• Awkward single pieces handled through Reservoir doorways, stairs and hallways

What moves the price on a Reservoir van run

Three things, mostly: how much there is, how far the van and driver has to carry it, and the distance travelled. Decent driveway access, tighter near the shops, so we confirm that first and quote a small load accordingly.

The more we know upfront — access, stairs, anything oversized — the tighter the quote. As Man with a Van in Reservoir, VIC, we size the van and driver to the job and give you a written price for the van run before you commit.
