Man with a Van in Williamstown, VIC

Small loads around Douglas Parade, priced as small loads

Plenty of Williamstown moves are one or two items rather than a whole household. As a Man with a Van in Williamstown, VIC, we send a van and the right number of hands instead of quoting a truck you will never fill — cheaper, and far quicker to get booked.

Planning your van run around Douglas Parade

A lot of these cottages have no driveway at all, so everything is loaded from the kerb — and Williamstown station at the end of the line adds its own timing to the mix, which is why the driver is briefed on both. A van run in Williamstown works best when nobody is learning the street on arrival, and that is what the pre-move call is for.

What we take care of around Douglas Parade

• Single items — beds, fridges, washing machines and lounge suites
• Secondhand and marketplace pickups from Newport, Spotswood and Altona
• Part-loads for downsizers shifting a room rather than a whole house
• Awkward single pieces worked through Williamstown doorways, stairs and hallways

Quoted on the Williamstown job, not a formula

Two Williamstown homes with the same bedroom count can need very different van run days. We price on what a small load really comes to and how far the driver carries it from the door to Douglas Parade, which is why our Williamstown figure tends to hold when cheaper ones move.
